The essentials of Calais

Observe, find your way, and discover are the key words of this tour, which begins with a time of appropriation around the tourist map of our territory and a discussion around the notion of heritage. Our guide takes your students to discover the emblematic places of the city to tell you its history. The walk in the heart of Calais, on a route of approximately 2 km, invites you to discover the emblematic places and monuments of the city center. From the Town Hall and its Belfry, testimonies of a remarkable heritage, to the captivating story of the Six Burghers and the statue of the famous Auguste Rodin, each stage reveals its secrets.
