Until August 23, 2026, the éTER program, run by Hauts-de-France Mobilités and SNCF Voyageurs, offers train travel for just €1 to numerous destinations across the region, including seaside, nature, and cities, on weekends and public holidays. Tickets are available for purchase up to a limit of 4,000 per day across the entire network. For special trains, éTER tickets are time-stamped and valid only for the specific train and time selected at the time of purchase.

TGV trains serve the stations of Calais Fréthun (Very High Speed Station) and the Calais Ville Station, right in the city center and a stone's throw from all the essential symbols.
