The Varan arrives in Calais: An XXL urban spectacle
Emerging from the bowels of the earth, the Dragon of Calais has taken root in the city of lace. Every day, it emits a powerful magnetic wave, a vibrant call to the animals whose DNA it carries: eagles, carp, rhinoceroses, bats, scorpions, and reptiles, including iguanas, lizards... and monitor lizards.
In the Australian deserts, the largest of the monitor lizards senses this signal. Wild, fierce, and unpredictable, it begins a journey across the world, guided by the call of the Dragon. In Calais, the meeting is being prepared. But from the depths emerges a dark force, determined to prevent this union.
Faced with this threat, The Calais Dragon and the Travel Monitor Lizard join forces. Together, they engage in a fight against evil, uniting power, instinct and animal memory.
For three days, the city becomes the scene of a mythical and spectacular confrontation. An open-air odyssey, a mirror of Calais: a border town, a world city, a place of passage and imagination.
