Day: Calais in panoramic views

For this program, we take you to discover the emblematic places of the city of Calais through a day rich in heritage and culture. From the iconic Hôtel de Ville and its famous statue of the Bourgeois, to the fascinating encounter with the Dragon of Calais, each stage of the visit allows you to dive into the heart of the history and curiosities of the destination.

09:45: Arrival of the group and welcome

10:00 a.m.: Guided tour on board your coach

Your guide will meet you at Place du Soldat Inconnu, take you to the Statue of the 6 Bourgeois and in front of the Town Hall on foot and then aboard your coach to discover the main monuments of the city and its surroundings for a circuit of approximately 20 km in total. A descent from the bus is necessary at the beginning of the guided tour at Place du Soldat Inconnu in order to see the Statue of the 6 Bourgeois and the Town Hall.

Tip: Remember to check that the microphone on board your coach is working properly.

12:15 p.m.: Lunch in a restaurant of your choice from our selection

14:30 p.m.: Combined visit of the City Hall and the Belfry

Accompanied by a guide, discover the remarkable architecture of this building and then explore its different rooms. You can then climb to the top of the belfry to enjoy an exceptional view of the city from more than 75 meters high.

16:30 p.m.: Travel on the back of a Dragon

Travel aboard the Dragon de Calais and enjoy a unique experience! The trip is a guided tour by the machinists - mediators of the Compagnie du Dragon for an expedition of 45 minutes to one hour, boarding and disembarkation time included. At the pace of the animal, the dragon riders take you to discover the world of the renowned artist François Delaroziere and the heritage of Calais from the breathtaking viewpoint of the terrace on the back of the dragon.

17:30 a.m.: End of services
