Restaurant
Le Chill
Chill has opened opposite Place d'Armes in a converted former newsagent's, with a modern setting and a contemporary brasserie menu. Its large covered terrace, one of the most popular in the city center, quickly gained a reputation despite its smaller indoor dining area.
Opened in 2018 by Xavier El Fassy in a former newsagent's shop on the corner of Place d'Armes, Le Chill quickly became one of Calais's must-visit spots. The decidedly modern concept focuses on a contemporary brasserie menu served in a stylish setting and on a large covered terrace: with only 25 seats inside, it's this terrace that has allowed the establishment to become one of the city's top brasseries. Takeaway is available for those who want to extend their dining experience beyond the restaurant itself.
