From July 13, 2026 to August 17, 2026

Since 2019, the Calais Street Art Festival has transformed the city's facades into an urban art trail accessible to all. Organized by The Graffiti Workshops, In partnership with the City of Calais, the festival installs new artworks in Calais' public spaces each summer. For this 6th edition, from July 13 to August 17, 2026, ten artists from Portugal, Brazil, Russia, and several regions of France will simultaneously create works on building facades in different neighborhoods. These artworks will be added to the existing permanent art trail and will remain visible long after the festival ends.

The Calais Street Art Festival is free and accessible on foot along its entire urban route. The installations take place from mid-July to mid-August 2026, according to each artist's schedule. The permanent exhibition already features around one hundred works created during previous editions, which can be viewed throughout the year.

Rémi Tournier (from Toulouse, France)

From July 14 to 24, 2026, Rue Michel Ange in Calais

Rémi Tournier began painting murals in Toulouse in 2012, drawing on his experience with graffiti. His work is figurative and deeply rooted in everyday life: ordinary people, silences, the invisible. He explores themes related to forgetting, abandonment, and the passage of time, with a realism that makes his murals tactile. Every detail is meticulously crafted so that the painting is as much a visual experience as it is a visual one.

Vinie (from Toulouse, France)

From July 15 to 22, 2026, Rue Edgard Quinet in Calais

Vinie is a painter from Toulouse, born in 1984. Since high school, she has developed a mural practice centered on a recurring female figure with an afro composed of lettering and natural elements. A regular exhibitor at numerous international festivals, she published "Opus Délit" with Éditions Critères in 2014 and continues a career that combines painting on canvas, installations, and outdoor interventions.

Shozy (from Moscow, Russia)

From July 17 to 24, 2026, Boulevard du 8 Mai in Calais

Originally from Moscow, born in 1989, Shozy is now recognized for his mastery of 3D techniques applied to mural painting. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, trained notably under Ilykhin Boris, he specializes in the art of large-scale optical illusion. His visual signature relies on the effects of materials: crumpled plastic, torn surfaces, and volumes that seem to emerge from the wall. His murals can be found in Berlin, Moscow, and Sharjah, among other cities.

Anje (from Yvelines, France)

July 23, 2026, Saint-Exupéry Roundabout in Calais

A graffiti artist since 1997, Anje has developed a mural practice that blends digital printing, acrylic paint, spray paint, and markers. He is the inventor of Plastigraff®, an internationally patented, recyclable adhesive material that allows for intervention on any surface, including historical monuments, without damaging the original structure. This invention opens up possibilities for creating ephemeral art in unusual locations.

L7Matrix (from São Paulo, Brazil)

From July 20 to 24, 2026, Corner of Four à Chaux / Boulevard Einstein

Born in São Paulo, Luis G. Martins has been developing a practice since adolescence that blends highly stylized geometric elements with elaborate realism. His technique utilizes India ink, latex, pastel, and acrylic. L7Matrix constructs compositions where free geometry and chromatic simplification coexist with a precision of detail that produces a deliberate visual tension. He has entered the world of art wholeheartedly, and all his feelings are focused on street art, where he fuses graffiti with abstract art and nature. His first love was Rayonism, a style of abstract art that originated in Russia in 1911. His works can now be found in numerous cities around the world.

Nuno Viegas (from Faro, Portugal)

From July 26 to August 4, 2026, on Rue Vladislav Volkov in Calais

Portuguese artist Nuno Viegas, also known as Métis, was born in Faro in 1985 and is the founder of the Policromia Crew collective. Trained in visual arts at the University of the Algarve, he began doing graffiti in 1999 before moving to Rotterdam in 2014, where he developed a mural style that blends graffiti culture and fine art. His compositions offer a stark contrast between the energy of the street and the serenity of their final form.

Tempo Nok (from Essonne, France)

From August 1st to 5th, 2026, Place de Djerba in Calais

Tempo Nok created his first murals in 1999 in the southern suburbs of Paris. It was during a trip to Japan in 2006, where he was invited to paint alongside Tokyo artists, that he found his artistic direction. There he discovered a local, low-opacity painting style whose interplay of transparency would become his signature: airy, light compositions built on the bubble effect and layering of paint.

2Flui aka Simon Cyril, (from Cergy, France)

From August 2nd to 6th, 2026, on Rue Hippolyte Taine in Calais

Simon Cyril, known as 2Flui, combines calligraphy and graffiti in a practice that spans various media: canvas, paper, photography, and clothing. Active in the street art scene since the 1990s, he collaborates extensively with other urban artists while developing a politically engaged dimension in his work, paying close attention to issues of suburban life and public space. He does not rule out official commissions when the project seems artistically sound to him.

Kat&Action (from Chambéry, France)

From August 2nd to 9th, 2026, Quai du Commerce in Calais

Kat & Action is an artist duo from Chambéry. Action, a self-taught artist with a background in hip-hop culture, explores the geometry of letters and the movement of forms. Kat, with an academic background, focuses her work on portraits and wildlife, paying particular attention to chromatic construction. Together, they create compositions using acrylics and spray paint, where each stroke carries energy and each color its own rhythm.

K2B (from Rouen, France)

From August 5 to 11, 2026, Rue Henri Matisse in Calais

K2B is a Normandy-based artist from Rouen who has been practicing graffiti since adolescence and began mural painting in 2015. Her work is realistic but encompasses various styles depending on the location and commission, drawing inspiration from hip-hop culture, her Eastern heritage, and the spaces available to her. She has been traveling throughout France and abroad for several years.
