Between Sangatte beach, the landscapes of Cap Blanc-Nez and the open horizon of the English Channel, this nautical activity combines well-being, conviviality and the discovery of an exceptional natural environment.
A water activity accessible to all
Ferry Longe Côte invites you to discover coastal walking, a water-based activity practiced in the sea with a specially designed paddle. Accessible to beginners and experienced practitioners alike, this activity takes place in a friendly atmosphere, where everyone progresses at their own pace and according to their own preferences.
Walking in seawater allows you to work your entire body while minimizing impact on your joints. The natural resistance of the water promotes muscle strengthening, improves endurance, balance, and breathing. A true health and fitness activity, coastal walking also provides a pleasant feeling of well-being thanks to the benefits of the marine environment.

From the Tom Souville Base in Sangatte, each outing offers a unique experience on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Opal Coast. Depending on the tides and sailing conditions, the routes follow the coastline towards Calais or Sangatte, with the cliffs of Cap Blanc-Nez, the dunes, the ferries crossing the strait and, in clear weather, the English coast as a backdrop.
