The Colombier Virval is not a typical urban park, but an ecosystem within a natural area of ecological, floristic and faunistic interest (ZNIEFF). Its diversity of habitats: ponds, pools and meadows, makes it a strategic stopover point for migratory, nesting and wintering birds.
