Starting from the town hall of Saint-Tricat, the circuit crosses the countryside towards the Ferme des Fontinettes, joins the road linking Hames-Boucres to the Planche Tournoire, passes in front of the Sainte-Victoire chapel, then branches off into the Nielles marsh to the town hall of Nielles-lès-Calais, before returning to Saint-Tricat via the Berck road.

The creation of the drainage ditches dates back to the 12th century. Their implementation made it possible to drain a vast coastal area located below sea level, thus making it usable by humans. The system relies on a network of ditches, locks, and dams. The lowest-lying areas, known as marshes, retain significant moisture throughout the seasons, promoting the preservation of typical animal and plant species.

Originally, Hames and Boucres each had their own church, about 1 km apart. The church in Hames, struck by lightning on February 4, 1764, and badly damaged, was demolished. Thanks to a donation from a man named Martin and a 10-are plot of land given by the Baron de Saint-Paul, a temporary chapel was built in 1873 and dedicated to Saint Victoire, in memory of Mrs. Auber de Berlaër, née Barbe-Aurore-Victoire-Martin.
Inaugurated on September 28, 1873, the chapel houses a 137 kg bell. It has been made available to the Society of Saint Pius X by the municipality since the 1980s, which celebrates Catholic worship there with the Tridentine Mass, one of the particularities of which is that it is said in Latin.
