Since 2009, the Lamothe Bakery and Pastry Shop has been perpetuating artisanal expertise in Calais and Coquelles, founded by two professionals with backgrounds in baking and pastry making. The shop focuses on homemade products, using responsibly sourced flour and ingredients from regional farms. At its various locations, including Boulevard de la Résistance in Calais Nord, the bakery offers breads, pastries, cakes, and confectionery, as well as its own version of the Calais, the city's iconic pastry.
