Your guide will meet you at Place du Soldat Inconnu, take you to the statue of the Six Burghers and across from the Town Hall on foot, then you will reboard your coach to discover the city's main monuments. A drop-off is planned at the port of Calais, France's leading passenger port, to discover this incredible infrastructure.

On the Site des 2 Caps, classified as a Grand Site de France, Cap Blanc Nez is the highest (134 m), which offers you magnificent panoramas over the Strait of Pas-de-Calais. Calais Museum of Fine Arts

Since May 17, 2025, a new gallery has been dedicated to Auguste Rodin, sculptor of the Monument to the Burghers of Calais, which contributed to the city's fame. The redesigned scenography of the tour emphasizes the multi-sensory approach: manipulation, tactile and sound elements. Particular attention is paid to the message, which the museum wants to be accessible to as many people as possible. The permanent galleries are dedicated to the fine arts collections. Two hundred and fifty works can be discovered through a tour that immerses us in the history of art from the XNUMXth century^e century to the present day. A dozen themes facilitate the understanding of the evolution of artistic tastes, particularly in the 19th century^e and XX^e centuries.

Calais Town Hall and its Belfry

A symbol of the city, this magnificent building with neo-Flemish architecture is a must-see. Take a look at the belfry and discover a 360° view. Notre Dame Church

Notre Dame Church is famous for being the site where Captain Charles de Gaulle and Yvonne Vendroux, a native of Calais, were married in 1921. Surrounded by its Tudor garden, it is a symbol of the English presence in the Middle Ages. The tour of Notre Dame Church is guided by a member of the AMVPAC association, which is working on its restoration.

The Calais Lighthouse
